Why You Should Consider Outfit PlanningBy Style Counsel / May 7, 2018 / Blog,Style / 0 Comments
Monday mornings are bad enough as it is, but they can be made worse when you’re standing in front of your wardrobe, just out of the shower and unsure what clothes to put on. A few extra minutes in bed, and an effortlessly fabulous outfit could easily take your morning from a mess to success, so let us convince you as to why you need to start planning your outfits on a Sunday evening.
Get off to a stress-free start
It’s too easy to feel like you’re drowning in outfit choices or like you have nothing to wear despite only going shopping last week. Taking some time on a Sunday evening to look over your diary and decide what outfit will suit each day of the week. This will reduce any stress before your day has even begun, allowing you to get off to the best start.
Prevents any major wardrobe malfunctions.
Getting dressed in a hurry without a plan of action is a recipe for disaster. You’ll end up leaving the house and realizing you’ve thrown on a dirty jumper and jeans that have a hole in them (we are speaking from experience here) which is not a glam look. Setting aside some time to organize your outfits will mean that even if you get ready in a rush your outfit will still be on point.
You’ll get to know what’s in your wardrobe
It’s so easy to get stuck in a routine of wearing the same outfit combinations each week, and often the floordrobe is easier to grab clothes from than the actual wardrobe. This results in you not actually knowing what’s lurking in the back of your drawers. Outfit planning allows you to take time to sift through your clothes and style something that’s yet to be worn, which you wouldn’t have time for on a usual weekday morning.
